Built on Faith. Raised on Cowboy Values.
 

I’m Luis Martinez, founder of Cornerstone Cowboy Beef Company, born and raised in Laredo, Texas, where South Texas meets the Mexican border and cowboy culture is still very much alive.

My road here wasn't a straight one. I've worked in the oilfields, spent time as a ranch hand, and in the world of entrepreneurship. Eventually, an opportunity brought me into the beef industry—and I found something I genuinely fell in love with.
 

It wasn't only the beef. It was the life that came with it.

Traveling across America, seeing completely different parts of this country, meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, and serving families from one community to the next changed the way I looked at business. Along the way, I became fascinated with the product itself—the different cuts, where they come from, how they're prepared, and helping families bring home quality proteins at a value they can feel good about.

But Cornerstone Cowboy has grown to mean something much bigger to me.

A cornerstone is what establishes the foundation. If the cornerstone is right, everything built from it has something solid to stand on.
 

For us, that cornerstone is faith in God.
 

We're not claiming to be perfect Christians. We're imperfect people trying to build something with God at the foundation and use the opportunities we've been given to bless others.

And the Cowboy comes from our South Texas roots—the grit, independence, hard work, hospitality, and determination that cowboy culture represents.
 

Our mission goes beyond feeding families. I want Cornerstone Cowboy to create opportunities that build men—helping people develop discipline, responsibility, confidence, leadership, and the ability to provide for their families and change the direction of their lives.
 

If we can serve great food, give families real value, create opportunities, strengthen people, and bring a few of them closer to God along the way, then we're building something much bigger than a beef company.
